Rhodonite is a silicate of manganese and occasionally occurs as translucent to semi-opaque crystals, but usually forms as compact masses in colours of rose, red and pink with brown and red mottling and patches of black veining due to oxidation of the manganese. Rhodonite is a stone to carry if you want to make yourself heard. It improves communication and facilitates mutual understanding. Carry a piece of rhodonite when going through a significant change in life especially when the situation is not of your choosing. It can be used to dispel negative states of mind, confusion and anxiety.
