Gibbsite, also known as Hydrargillite, is an aluminum hydroxide mineral that crystallizes in the form of tabular crystals, masses, tiny concretions, and a spherical botryoidal pattern. This rare Gibbsite mineral comes from Baoshan Yunnan Province China! This mineral is often confused with Hemimorphite. These specimens are a vibrant turquoise colour. The photos do not do these specimens justice.
